Most cos expect to retain hybrid work model

Bengaluru: With the third wave of Covid-19 on the wane, India Inc is gradually switching back to won king from office. Companies such as ITC, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Axis Bank, RPG Group, Deloitte, Cognizant and KPMG haye begun calling employees back to office or are making plans to do so in the near future. most companies reverted to work-from-home mode for non-essential staff as Omicron cases swept thro-ugh the country. On Monday, for the first time in more than a month, da-ily cases dropped to below 100,000. However, even as companies belie-ve it is safer to bring back more employees now, the majority have decided to continue with the hybrid work model. KPMG, which took a decision on January 3 to close all its 32 offices in the country, plans to resume work at offices from February 14, with Covid protocols in place.
